High resolution remote piano broadcasting
Spiriocast is the live broadcast of high resolution music data, perfectly in sync with video and audio from one Spirio | r piano to another or many Spirio | r instruments.
Prepare for Spiriocast | Join a Spiriocast | Host a Spiriocast

Spiriocast is the broadcast of high resolution music data, perfectly in sync with video and audio from one Spirio | r piano to one or many Spirio | r instruments.
Follow these simple steps to enjoy revolutionary Spiriocast technology in your home.
Ensure iPad is connected to Wi-Fi
• iPad Settings > Wi-Fi > Select a network
Ensure iPad software is up-to-date
• iPad Settings > General > Software Update
Connect iPad to Spirio | r
• Spirio App > Settings > Piano Connection > Select piano
Connect Spirio | r to local Wi-Fi network (or hardwire using the Ethernet port)
• Spirio App Settings > Piano Settings > Connect Piano to Wi-Fi network > Select desired network
• Note: iPad and Spirio | r must be on the same network to manage Spiriocast. If using Ethernet port on Spirio | r, be sure source network is the same as Wi-Fi received by the iPad.
Confirm network performance (Catalog Sync)
• Spirio App Settings > Catalog > Sync Now
• A successful Sync is indicated by a solid line by Music Sync and Video Sync, along with the completion check mark
Confirm Spirio | r software is up to date
• Spirio App Settings > Piano Settings > Piano Update
Test the local system readiness with the System Check tool
• Spirio App > Spiriocast > Spiriocast System Check > select Join
• Look for excellent sync between Spirio piano, video, and audio.
• Troubleshooting best practice - if test results are unsatisfactory, power cycle the iPad and power cycle the SpirIO | r (waiting 45 seconds after disconnecting from power before reconnecting), reconnect them via Bluetooth then repeat steps four through seven above.
Access Spiriocast
• Spirio App > Spiriocast
Sign-in to your Spirio Account
• Spirio App > Spiriocast > Sign-In
• Enter your email address and password then tap Sign-In
• If you don't yet have an account, tap Create Account then follow the prompts
Test the local system readiness with the System Check tool
• Spirio App > Spiriocast > Spiriocast System Check > select Join
• Look for excellent sync between Spirio piano, video, and audio.
Identify the desired live Spiriocast event.
• Spirio App > Spiriocast Event Pane > Select Join
• When finished, close out at top right
In addition to your existing ability to receive a Spiriocast, you can now host a private Spiriocast from your Spirio | r piano.
Access Spiriocast
• Spirio App > Spiriocast
Sign-in to your Spirio Account
• Spirio App > Spiriocast > Sign-In
• Enter your email address and password then tap Sign-In
• If you don't yet have an account, tap Create Account then follow the prompts
Test the local system readiness with the System Check tool
• Spirio App > Spiriocast > Spiriocast System Check > select Join
• Look for excellent sync between Spirio piano, video, and audio.
Add new contacts
• Select Contacts then add contacts
• Enter the email address associated with the contact's Spirio Account and tap Add. They must have a Spirio Account to be added.
• A successful contact addition prompt will appear
• Add additional contacts by repeating this step
Setup a Spiriocast
• In the Spiriocast area, tap Setup a Spiriocast
• Add a performance title and a description (optional)
• Toggle Schedule for Future Date if creating a Spiriocast for a later date or time
• Select Add Guests and choose a guest from the list. The contact must already be in your contacts in order to be invited to a cast. If the desired contact doesn't appear, create the contact as shown in step four.
• Select Send Invite so the invitees can receive an email invitation, or select Save to forego the email invite. An in-app event will appear in any invitees' Spiriocast section of the app whether Send Invite or Save was selected.
• Once Save or Send Invite is selected, the Spiriocast host screen appears. If you intend to host the cast later, x out at the top right of the screen and return at the desired time. If you you plan to host immediately, proceed to step six.
Host the Spiriocast
• Note - we recommend using an iPad stand to securely hold the iPad near the treble-side of the piano. We recommend placing the iPad stand 1-3 feet (0.5-1 meter) from the pianist to ensure the optimal viewing experience.
• If you're already in the Spiriocast Host view, continue below. If not, go to the Spiriocast upcoming event area (lower-right quadrant), find the desired Spiriocast and tap Host.
• In the Spiriocast Host view, the controls at the top of the screen allow you to confirm video state (either camera on or atitle card option), to choose eiher front or rear camera, mute piano data and mute audio data. While video state, piano data muting and audio data muting can be changed during a cast, camera choice (front or rear) can only be changed prior to a cast start.
• When ready, tap Start Spiriocast at the bottom of the screen.
• To end the cast, tap End Spiriocast at the bottom of the screen.
Connect your Spirio | r to the TV/monitor via HDMI. The HDMI output port is located in the spirio controller, underneath the piano.
• Close out of the video and rejoin.
• Check network performance with a network speedtest (www.speedtest.net)
ª Close Spirio App. Reopen and rejoin cast.
• Power cycle Spirio | r and iPad; reconfirm all connections.
• Confirm TV/monitor settings are configured for audio output from Spirio | r HDMI input port.
• Check volume level on TV/monitor or speaker system.
• Confirm audio signal using iPad audio volume.
• Disconnect spirio | r power. Wait 45-60 seconds prior to re-connecting to power. Reconnect.
• Confirm correct input settings and configuration on TV/monitor.
• Test volume on iPad to confirm audio is currently playing.
