If Spirio | r is not connecting to the iPad App, follow these steps to eliminate connectivity and playback issues.
• Ensure Spirio | r is connected to power
• Ensure iPad is within 30 feet/10 meters of Spirio at all times
• Ensure iPad Bluetooth is turned on (iPad Settings > Bluetooth, make sure the toggle switch to the right is set to on)
• Connect the iPad to Spirio | r via Bluetooth (instructions for connection are on the Connect page in this guide)
• Close and re-open the Spirio App (double-tap iPad home button and swipe app up, then re-select the app) and try to connect
• Power off the iPad and unplug the Spirio piano. Wait 30 seconds then power on the iPad and plug in the Spirio (Spirio | r takes approximately two-minutes to re-start). Once both have re-started, re-connect iPad to Spirio | r
• Ensure the iPad software (iOS) is up to date (go to iPad Settings > General > Software Update)
• Ensure the Spirio App is up to date (go to iPad App Store > Updates > Update All)
• Ensure Spirio | r Firmware is up to date (go to Spirio | r App Settings > Piano Settings > Piano Update > Update)
• Delete the Spirio App from the iPad (hold your finger on the Spirio App icon until a small circle and “x” appears on the top left. Select the x and confirm deletion). Once deleted, open iPad App Store, re-open Spirio App, and reconnect Bluetooth. (Note - before deleting app, be sure to note your unique Spirio customer ID number, found in this Spirio App Settings > App Info. You will enter this number when re-installing the app)
